For the early birds

From next Monday, 29 February, the City Campus library will again be open from 7am, Monday-Friday.

From 7-8am, a selection of services will be available, including printing, copying, binding, access to computers, and all the library’s physical resources. The full range of library services is available from 8am.

Remember, even when we’re not open, all our electronic resources are still available to you, wherever you are.

We look forward to seeing you, bright and early!

 

International Mother Language Day – 21 February 2016

Kia ora, Tālofa, Guten tag, Goede dag, Konnichiwa, Bonjour, Ciao, Hola, Hello …

International Mother Language Day is observed annually on the 21st of February worldwide to promote awareness of linguistic and cultural diversity and multilingualism. It was first announced by UNESCO on 17 November 1999. Its observance was also formally recognized by the United Nations General Assembly in its resolution establishing 2008 as the International Year of Languages.
